Kristin Davis believes in real equality for all people and strongly supports gay marriage in New York.
This is an equality issue not a moral issue. All people must be treated equally under the Constitution. That means all people must have the right to marry the person of their choice.
Civil unions, while they sound good, are separate but not equal and therefore, not constitutional. All Americans must be subject to identical treatment under the Law.
Kristin has written of her support for gay marriage long before this campaign started and has many supporters in the gay and lesbian community. Kristin states "to my gay friends who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to the New York Democrats only to be double crossed on the gay marriage issue I say, Join my campaign and send your contributions to me and let your voices be heard"!
